Esoteric Acupuncture, a form of Expanding Consciousness

The intent of Esoteric Acupuncture is to expand wellness and spiritual growth. Most systems of medicine work to treat a person in a state of illness and attempt to re-instate health with the hope of also preventing further disease. 

The pioneer of Esoteric Acupuncture, Dr. Mikio Sankey PhD, L.Ac. states, “The power of acupuncture is to harmonize and strengthen the body systems before a disease stage, but the power of Esoteric Acupuncture is to work with expanding consciousness and strengthen the root which is our Higher, Inner Spiritual Heart Center.”

What Does Esoteric Acupuncture Mean

From Dr. Sankey:“The phrase Esoteric Acupuncture is broken up into three sections. 

1. Esoteric means something that is not readily known. 
2. Acupuncture comes from two words. “Acus” is a Latin word that means needle or obelisk. In esoteric teachings, obelisk can also mean a temple. Puncture means to pierce. Therefore, we are piercing your “temple” (your physical body) to activate or to reach something esoteric within. This esoteric “something” is the alignment, strengthening and refining your Heart Center.
3. This Heart Center is the field that opens up infinite possibilities for your journey on planet Earth. We are interested in raising the vibrations of your Heart Center and to connect this center with all your denser frequency fields of consciousness including: your dense physical, etheric, astral and mental fields, plus accessing and activating the buddhic, atmic, monadic and logoic fields of cosnciousness. The possibility exists for some to access solar, galactic and cosmic consciousness with repeated Esoteric Acupuncture treatments, Inner Stillness Meditation and/or other frequency alignments.”

The Core Philosophy and Process of Esoteric Acupuncture

Esoteric Acupuncture supports self actualization through connection and expansion of our spiritual heart centres. To reach and activate these spiritual heart centres, individuals must practice cleaning living and focused intent through mediation and other vibrational practices to align with their true nature. 

The acupuncture treatments assist the process by building inner relationships between all communication centres, known to hold the many aspects of ’SHEN, aka the heart energies’. The needles are placed in sacred geometric patterns and activated with the person’s consciousness by connecting the shapes with their mind and meridians. 

Activating the geometric patterns provides alignment with a person’s true nature and expands their consciousness, resulting in the deletion of old patterns (emotional, mental, physical, spiritual). This shift allows for changes in perspective and a realized becoming of your greatest expression of self.
